Outlaw Refit Location in Destiny 2: A Step-by-Step Guide to Complete ‘Should You Choose to Accept it’ Part 3

The Outlaw Refit in Destiny 2 is an incredible reward that you can obtain by completing the Should You Choose to Accept it Part 3 quest. This quest is a continuation of parts one and two, where we were rewarded with the Frenzy and Pressurized Refits. In my personal opinion, the Outlaw Refit surpasses these two in terms of superiority. However, it’s worth mentioning that you need to complete both parts one and two to unlock access to the Outlaw Refit, so it’s crucial to tackle them first.

If you currently have the Should You Choose to Accept it Part 3 quest sitting in your quest log, you can expect to spend about an hour completing it. But don’t worry! I’m here to make that time as enjoyable as possible by providing a step-by-step guide on how to conquer this quest.

Destiny 2 Outlaw Refit – How to Complete Should You Choose to Accept it Part 3

Step 1 – Return to the Archimedes Annex to Download New Cryptographic Intel

After completing week six of More Than a Weapon, you will receive an important milestone in the form of Should You Choose to Accept it Part 3 from Rasputin located in the H.E.L.M.

In Part 3, the gameplay will be similar to the previous parts. As always, your first destination is Operation: Archimedes accessed from the H.E.L.M. Directors map. Don’t worry, this mission is no different from the ones you have run before, so it shouldn’t cause you any trouble.

Step 2 – Explore the EDZ

After successfully completing Operation: Archimedes, your next destination will be the EDZ (European Dead Zone). Similar to previous parts of the quest, your mission will be updated automatically when you enter the EDZ loading screen to land on the planet.

Step 3 – Conquer the EDZ by Completing Patrols and Eliminating Targets

Just like previous weeks, completing patrols and defeating enemies in the EDZ is the key to decrypting a passcode cipher. Each enemy you vanquish will contribute around one percent towards your progress, while patrols will give you a satisfying 10 percent boost. In the past, I’ve found that simply diving into a Public Event was enough to breeze through this step. The number of enemies you eliminate in these events is usually sufficient to tick off this task without breaking a sweat.

However, it’s worth noting that the EDZ is considered a beginner area, which means Public Events here are notably easier compared to other regions in the Solar System. For me, it took participating in over two Public Events in the EDZ to complete the third step of Should You Choose to Accept it Part 3. So, brace yourself as completing this might be slightly more challenging and frustrating than in previous weeks.

Step 4 – Conquer the Terminus East Lost Sector

After completing step three, the next step is to upload the cipher to a terminal located in the Terminus East Lost Sector. This Lost Sector is one of the introductory ones, which means it’s relatively easy compared to the others in the game. Don’t worry, even a regular Lost Sector won’t pose much of a challenge here. In fact, you can easily run through it in just 30 seconds.

To find the Lost Sector, head to the side of the EDZ Church. Once there, you’ll come across the terminal you’re looking for, situated right next to the chest at the end of the Sector. Trust me, it’s impossible to miss.

Step 5 – Discover the Schematic in Seraph’s Shield on Legend

Congratulations on completing the easier tasks so far! Now it’s time to embark on a Legend Operation: Seraph’s Shield to discover the next weapon schematic. Your mission is to locate a dead Exo who holds the schematic.

You will find the Exo for Revision Zero’s Outlaw Refit in the first boss room, which happens to be the most challenging part of the entire mission. Make your way through the encounter to ensure no enemies are causing any disturbances. Once you’ve accomplished this, head back to the door you entered the room from.

Stand with your back to the door, as if you were entering the room for the first time, and then take a right turn. Look for an open doorway (as shown in the picture above, taken from the central platform) and you’ll find the Exo lying on the ground inside that section.

As you approach the Exo, a marker will appear on your screen, indicating you are closing in on your target. In case you’re having trouble locating the Exo, don’t worry. Simply navigate around the edge of the room and wait for the marker to appear.

Step 6 – Conquer Seraph’s Shield on Legend Difficulty

To proceed further and uncover the weapon schematic, you must successfully complete Seraph’s Shield on Legend difficulty. This will require your utmost skill, determination, and strategic thinking. Are you up for the challenge?

Once you get your hands on the Outlaw Refit from the Exo, the only thing left to do is to complete the thrilling Legend Operation: Seraph’s Shield run. And let me tell you, it’s quite the ride.

Now, here’s a word of advice – tackling this mission solo might actually be easier. Take it from someone who learned the hard way; make sure to equip the Solo Operative on your class item before diving in.

But that’s not all. To conquer this mission with ease, I highly recommend using a weapon capable of extreme burst DPS. The Grand Overture will make Brigs look like minced meat, and even the boss won’t stand a chance against it. On the other hand, I found that the Retrofit Escapade didn’t quite live up to my expectations.

However, don’t underestimate the power of Operation: Seraph’s Shield. By now, you’re already three parts into the Should You Choose to Accept it questline, so I assume you’re well aware of its intensity and challenges.
