However, after the confrontation, Glut will request that you kill Spaw so he can seize control of the colony.

You have the choice to side with Glut or take matters into your own hands and eliminate him on the spot. We chose to align with Spaw, finding it more advantageous in the long run. This decision rewarded us with a number of items:

• Lump of Myconid Flesh
• Hastening Spores
• Rogue’s Morsel
• Bonecap
• Nightlight Frond
• Poison Spores

These additional items may be appealing, but is it truly worth it? Opinions vary, but we don’t believe so. Surprisingly, Astarion approves of this choice, as does Karlach.

Now comes the big decision. Who will you choose? Our recommendation is to side with Sovereign Spaw. Not only do you receive rewards for completing the quest, but you also gain valuable experience points from him. Furthermore, defeating Glut becomes easier when you have the support of Spaw and the whole colony against him.

However, if you are pursuing an evil playthrough, siding with Sovereign Glut and eliminating Sovereign Spaw might be the path you’re looking for.
