Discovering BG3 Corpse Rose: Location Guide & Insights by Daniel Wenerowicz

Prepare yourself for an exciting quest in Baldur’s Gate 3 as you venture into the world of alchemy. One of the key ingredients you’ll need for a potent toxin is the elusive Corpse Rose. These rare roses play a pivotal role in Thisobald Thorm’s research notes, and now it’s up to you to locate them for your own alchemical pursuits.

Discovering the Secret Location of Corpse Roses in Baldur’s Gate 3

Your search for Corpse Roses begins in the Shadow Cursed Lands, next to the stable located north of the Road to Baldur’s Gate portal. The astute Thorm mentions this specific area as the site of a shipment of these coveted roses. If you need a point of reference, heading west from the House of Healing will lead you in the right direction.

When you arrive at the stable in the game, it’s crucial to have at least one character in your party who can pass the survival check. This check is necessary to spot the box of Corpse Roses, which is a vital component for crafting the special toxin in Baldur’s Gate 3. Without passing the survival check, searching the box becomes nearly impossible.

If you want to ensure the success of finding at least one Corpse Rose, I recommend saving your game before reaching the stable and reloading until one of your party members spots the dirt mound. This will guarantee that you obtain at least one Corspe Rose Salt to use in the recipe for the toxin. Remember, you need a minimum of three Corpse Roses for this.

In addition to the stable, you can find a single Corpse Rose in the Morgue beneath the House of Healing. To reach this area, head to the docks north of the Great Mausoleum and locate the hidden entrance. Search among the bodies and caskets in the Morgue to find the roses you need. With this method, you’ll soon have enough Corpse Roses to create your poison.
