If you’ve had the chance to speak with Frank Renick, the shopkeeper at Neon Tactical on the bustling main street, you’ll learn that he’s a man marked for death. Warlord, a menacing figure from the local gang known as the Disciples, has targeted him as his next victim.

Our task is to de-escalate the situation, and we have two options – initiating a conversation with Warlord or eliminating him entirely. Let’s consider the consequences of each action. To find Warlord, head towards Ebbside, located on the left side of Neon’s main street. Just walk through the door of the coffee shop, and you’ll be right where you need to be.

Warlord can be found in Euphorika, where he is engaged in a conversation with another Disciple member.

If you choose to speak with Warlord, it becomes apparent that his intentions of harming Frank are not as lethal as initially thought. His act of tagging Styx was a petty way to get back at Frank. The most rational approach in this situation would be to [Persuade] him. However, convincing Warlord won’t be an easy task. You will need to successfully navigate through eight nodes to succeed. Remember, persuasion allows unlimited turns as long as you don’t fail. It is advisable to choose “green” options towards the end and opt for high-risk +4 moves in the beginning.

At this critical juncture, you have two options: try to persuade Warlord to leave Frank and Styx alone, or take matters into your own hands and confront him directly.

Prepare for a battle if you choose to confront Warlord. Although he and his companion are both level 6, they pose a moderate threat. Vanquishing them grants you access to valuable rewards. Loot Warlord’s body to acquire “Warlord’s Credits” and an additional 1,553 credits. Additionally, you’ll discover Disciples Streetwear, a fashionable attire that is sure to make you stand out.

Conversely, if you decide to eliminate Warlord, fear not, for Frank fully supports your decision. In fact, he believes that Warlord deserved his fate. As a token of his gratitude, Frank generously rewards you with 4,300 credits.

While the rewards remain similar regardless of your choice, the action of killing Warlord proves to be more profitable. Not only will you gain 1,000~ credits and valuable loot, but you can also sell two guns to Frank. However, keep in mind that ethics and morality play a crucial role in your decision-making process. Ultimately, go with what aligns with your principles.
