While there isn’t a known method to summon the Scavenger boss in DMZ, there are certain actions you can take to increase the likelihood of his appearance and, consequently, the chances of his Buy Station showing up. These include:

• Complete Hunt Contracts – These contracts challenge players to eliminate enemies. When you successfully eliminate other players, they will drop their high-tier loot and cash. The Scavenger is naturally drawn to these valuable items. Wait nearby and if the Scavenger spawns, make your way towards him.
• Camp on eliminated enemies – As the match progresses, you will receive Plea For Help notifications from eliminated players who are looking to be revived and join forces. Their bodies act as a magnet for the Scavenger.
• Defeat other bosses – When you defeat bosses, they drop excellent loot. This loot is like catnip to the Scavenger, especially if you have taken down a significant number of bots who also drop their own loot. During our exploration of the Konni Secrets mission, we discovered that defeating the Bomb Maker attracted the Scavenger and his Buy Station to Tsuki Castle.
• Be patient and wait for the Scavenger – As the DMZ games progress and the exclusion zones become increasingly filled with loot and bodies, the chances of the Scavenger’s arrival are much higher. We observed that he appeared in numerous matches; it was just a matter of staying alive long enough.

Locating the Scavenger

You’ll know when the Scavenger is nearby when his icon appears on your minimap. The icon features a white skeletal face with the lower half covered. It will also provide you with his exact location, allowing you to head straight to him. However, a word of caution: do not approach him without the Disguise equipped. The Scavenger is surrounded by hordes of bots who will not take it lightly if you attempt to approach their boss.

The Disguise is an incredible new Field Upgrade in the world of gaming. It allows players to blend in with DMZ combatants, making them virtually invisible to bots. By equipping this powerful tool, you can move through the game undetected, as bots mistake you for an ally. To get your hands on this game-changing item, keep an eye out for Duffel Bags in all exclusion zones. Inside, you’ll find a mannequin head wearing a balaclava, signaling that you’ve stumbled upon the Disguise.

However, here’s an important tip: refrain from attacking the Scavenger while using the Disguise. Not only will this expose your true identity and make you vulnerable to enemy fire, but it will also prevent the Scavenger from calling in his Buy Station.

Discover the Scavenger’s Buy Station

With your Disguise securely on, head towards the Scavenger. As you approach, he will mistake you for a fellow combatant, embracing you as part of his forces. This special interaction will prompt the Scavenger to summon his Buy Station and offer you a reward.

Keep an eye on your minimap for the red circle that denotes the Scavenger’s Buy Station. It will materialize as a Deployable Buy Station, just like the ones you’re accustomed to. Make your way towards it and interact as you normally would at a Buy Station. From there, you can take advantage of the array of items available for purchase to complete your mission with ease.

In order to access the Buy Station in Warzone DMZ, you must have a Disguise equipped. So before you head over to the Buy Station, double-check that you still have your Disguise equipped. Once you have it equipped, the Buy Station will allow you to access its features. A helpful UI notification will let you know when the objectives have been completed, giving you the green light to use the Buy Station to your heart’s content.
