The Queen Beckons Destiny 2: Understanding Daphne Fama’s Role in the Game

How to Complete The Queen Beckons Exotic Quest for Sweet Business in Destiny 2

If there’s one Exotic Weapon that defined my experience as a New Light guardian in Destiny 2, it would have to be Sweet Business. This assault rifle offers incredible stability and a generous magazine that reloads itself as long as you feed it purple and green ammo blocks. It’s a powerhouse early in the game and can make you feel unstoppable. However, if you want to wield this beast, you’ll first need to complete the exotic quest, The Queen Beckons. Here’s a guide on how to finish it.

Sweet Business has been a coveted prize since Season 1, but with the Witch Queen Expansion, its quest has received a facelift. If you’re aiming to complete as many quests as possible before Lightfall strikes, it’s wise to speed through this one.

To start, you’ll need to acquire the quest. Speak to Shaw Han, the New Light guide, in the Cosmodrome. Shaw is conveniently located near the fast travel point in The Steppes. The Exotic Quest will be available in his inventory.

Once you have the quest, your first task is to defeat 100 enemies. I recommend heading straight to Sorrow’s Harbor on the Moon. Here, you’ll find endless waves of enemies to fight. Approach the nearest Nightmare Altar and start mowing them down.

After dispatching 100 enemies, you’ll need to kill 50 enemies using your Super or class ability. This step can be quite tedious. You can stay in Sorrow’s Harbor and carefully utilize your grenade and melee to take down groups of Thralls. Alternatively, you can traverse to a world with a large map and numerous fast travel points, such as Nessus or the EDZ, and participate in multiple Public Events. This will help charge your Super quickly. Either way, with a bit of effort, you’ll complete this step.

Once you’ve eliminated enough enemies, you’ll be directed to speak with Amanda Holliday, the ship mechanic, in the Tower Hangar. She will provide you with your next mission.

Now, it’s time to enter the Throne World and defeat another 100 enemies while completing 3 Public Events. Prioritize finishing the Public Events first, as this will likely reduce the number of enemies you’ll need to eliminate. If you’ve completed all 3 Public Events and still need to take out more enemies, I recommend the Lost Sector, Extraction, in the Quagmire. Once you know its location, it’s fairly easy to access. In the room with the locked rune door, you’ll have the opportunity to farm waves of enemies.

To get waves to spawn, step on one of the plates but don’t let it fully charge. Step off when the first wave of enemies appears and repeat the process. Soon enough, you’ll reach the required kill count.

This quest is primarily focused on battling enemies. Now, you’ll need to destroy 150 enemies using an assault rifle. Return to the Moon and Sorrow’s Harbor with your favorite AR and unleash your firepower on those Thrall.

If you’re up for a challenge, you can also venture into the Crucible. It’s worth mentioning that in this competitive PvP environment, Guardians count as 2 kills. However, completing this step in the Crucible can be quite inefficient since assault rifles, while usable, are not the optimal choice for PvP. But hey, if you feel like taking a break from PvE, that’s completely understandable.

After successfully eliminating 150 enemies, make your way back to the Tower and seek out Amanda Holliday. As a reward for your hard work, she will present you with the highly coveted exotic weapon, Sweet Business. Congratulations, Guardian!
