With the arrival of Warzone Season 4, DMZ extraction mode has undergone significant changes. New missions, the introduction of the PHALANX Faction, and the Reputation mechanic offer players a plethora of new content to explore.
While most missions in Warzone DMZ revolve around Call of Duty’s signature gunplay and eliminations, Unarmed and Dangerous, a Tier 3 Mission in the Black Mous Faction, takes a different approach.
Objective
This mission challenges players to infiltrate and extract from an Exclusion Zone without ever picking up a weapon. The specific tasks for this mission are as follows:
- Infiltrate the zone solo without any weapons.
- Extract from the zone without picking up any weapons during the same deployment.
Completing these tasks successfully will not only test your stealth skills but also offer a unique and rewarding gameplay experience in Warzone DMZ.
To complete the Unarmed and Dangerous mission in Exclusion Zone, players are not limited to a specific drop location. The game will prompt you and caution you about entering a match without any weapons or equipment. Embrace this challenge and proceed accordingly. Additionally, if the game offers you a free loadout, resist the temptation to accept it.
As soon as you spawn in the game, pay attention to the first objective completion notification. This should happen right at the beginning of the DMZ match. If it doesn’t, it means you haven’t met the requirements for the Unarmed and Dangerous mission, so make sure to rectify that.
Rushing for Exfil
Once you’ve completed the first objective, waste no time in heading straight for an Exfil spot. You can easily locate these on your minimap as they are marked by green smoke and symbolize a stick figure heading for a door. Approach one of these spots and call in an Exfil Helicopter.
While making your way to the Exfil spot, it’s acceptable to loot items, equipment, and cash along the way. However, remember to avoid picking up any weapons as doing so will instantly disqualify you from completing the mission.
On our journey, we found that looting grenades was particularly useful. Once you’ve called in the Exfil Chopper, prepare for enemy encounters. Without a weapon, your best strategy is to remain hidden and cautiously make your way towards the Exfil Chopper, utilizing your armor and grenades. These not only help you to heal but also keep the attention of enemies, creating distractions as you approach the helicopter. Once inside, go prone immediately to minimize your vulnerability as a target.
Completing the Unarmed and Dangerous mission in Warzone DMZ is a thrilling experience, and the rewards are definitely worth the effort. By successfully exfiltrating, you will earn a generous bounty that includes 10,000 XP, the coveted Riot Shield Contraband, and a respectable increase of 300 Reputation for the Black Mous Faction.
