Warzone’s DMZ mode has recently undergone exciting updates in Season 4, including new missions, gear, and the introduction of the PHALANX Faction. One of these missions is called “Badge of Honor,” but you may be wondering how to successfully complete it in Warzone DMZ.
Complete Guide: DMZ Badge of Honor Mission
Badge of Honor is classified as a Tier 2 Mission within the Black Mous Faction. This mission holds significant importance as it serves as a requirement to unlock the PHALANX Faction in DMZ, but only after players have earned sufficient reputation within the Black Mous Faction and completed the Icebreaker mission.
Icebreaker, being the Tier 2 Story Mission, becomes accessible only once a series of Tier 2 missions have been completed – Badge of Honor being one of them.
Objectives
Let’s dive into the specific tasks you need to accomplish in order to successfully complete the Badge of Honor mission in DMZ. The mission consists of two primary objectives:
- Acquire a Basilisk, which can typically be found in Police Stations.
- Eliminate 9 enemies with headshots using the acquired Basilisk.
By completing these tasks, you will earn progress towards completing the Badge of Honor mission and ultimately unlock the PHALANX Faction in Warzone’s DMZ mode.
At first glance, it may seem like a straightforward task. However, in reality, it can be more challenging than it appears. Now that we have completed the necessary tasks, the next step is to locate a Police Station.
Discovering Police Stations in Al Mazrah
For those looking to complete the Badge of Honor quest, the ideal location is Al Mazrah, as it is home to three distinct Police Stations.
The first station is situated in Sa’id City, the second in Al-Mazrah City, and the final one is located near the captivating Mawizeh Marshlands. To help you in your quest, we have conveniently marked all three stations on the map below.
Discovering the Elusive Basilisk
When it comes to finding a Basilisk, know that it might not always be readily available at a Police Station. Don’t be disheartened if you have to visit multiple stations in your quest for this powerful weapon. Our experience has led us to the discovery that Sa’id City offers the highest probability of finding the Basilisk. Specifically, head upstairs to the room with shelves, adjacent to the locked Police Armory.
The Basilisk itself is a remarkable heavy revolver and should not pose too much of a challenge to locate. Make sure to meticulously search shelves, desks, and cabinets. In our encounters, we have found the Basilisk resting on a shelving unit, positioned at a convenient waist height.
Master the Basilisk to Achieve Eliminations
Now that you’ve acquired the powerful Basilisk, it’s time to embark on the exciting challenge of eliminating 9 enemies to complete the Badge of Honor tasks. The specific type of enemies (AI, real players, armored, etc.) doesn’t matter, as long as you achieve 9 headshot eliminations.
For this task, our recommendation is to locate a group of unsuspecting, lowly-armored AI enemies. Make sure you have enough armor plates and ample ammo for your Basilisk. This is where the Sa’id City Police Station shines – it is conveniently situated near a multi-storey parking lot that houses an ammo refill station.
Un-armored enemies can be easily dispatched with just one or two shots from the Basilisk. However, those with armor and protective helmets will require 2 or 3 headshots, making them more challenging to eliminate as they will fight back in the meantime.
Reward Yourself for Completing the Mission
Once you’ve accomplished this task, you have the option to exfiltrate or continue with another mission. The best part is, you get to enjoy fantastic rewards for completing the Badge of Honor mission. These rewards include:
- Fennec 45 Contraband
- 7,500 XP
- +200 Black Mous Reputation
By acquiring these rewards, you’ll be one step closer to unlocking the Icebreaker Story Mission and gaining the favor of the PHALANX Faction.
