Cat Statue DMZ: A Comprehensive Guide to Completing Shopkeeper’s Request Mission in Warzone

Embarking on missions, discovering valuable and rare items, and successfully extracting them lie at the core of the DMZ experience in Warzone. In one particular mission called ‘Pet Rescue’, players are given the task of locating Cat Statues. However, as is customary in this game mode, the locations of these statues are not clearly marked.

In Warzone DMZ, Cat Statues do not have predetermined spawn points. This means that you will need to search for them, and there is an element of luck involved in finding them. However, we do have some knowledge about where they tend to appear on the map and which caches are more likely to contain them.

When it comes to Ashika Island, which is the exclusion zone where the Cat Statues can be found, they are most frequently found in duffel bags and lockers. Therefore, it is crucial to thoroughly search these areas whenever you come across them on Ashika Island. It is worth noting, however, that the presence of Cat Statues is not guaranteed, so patience is required. It took us at least 3 or 4 matches on Ashika Island before we finally stumbled upon one.

In our case, we found a Cat Statue while making our way towards Lost Room 403, located just north of the Beach Club. It was hidden inside a duffel bag. The image below illustrates the exact location where we found it and what you should be looking for:

While Cat Statues in DMZ don’t have specific spawn locations, we have a great recommendation on where to start your search. The best places to find Cat Statues are concentrated on the west coast of Ashika Island, packed with points of interest (POIs) and buildings.

Our suggestion is to begin your search at either Oganikku Farms or Beach Club and explore along the west coast. This area offers ample opportunities for looting buildings and may even have some Strongholds for you to conquer. Chances are high that you’ll stumble upon a Cat Statue relatively quickly.

Mastering the Shopkeeper’s Request Mission in Warzone DMZ

In the action-packed world of Warzone DMZ, completing missions is essential for your success. One mission that many players come across is the Shopkeeper’s Request Mission, particularly the task involving the Cat Statue. This Tier 4 White Lotus mission in Season 4 requires players to achieve two separate objectives:

  1. Locate and deposit 3 Koschei Complex keys in Al Mazrah.
  2. Retrieve and deposit 1 Cat Statue in Al Mazrah.

Both objectives can be completed at any Al Mazrah dead drop. So gather the necessary items, such as visiting Zaya Observatory, and deposit them to complete these tasks. Keep in mind that once you find the Cat Statue, it’s best to exfiltrate quickly to avoid the risk of losing it on Ashika Island and having to start your search all over again.

The Koschei Complex keys pose a greater challenge, as they are harder to find. To obtain them, you must enter the Complex via one of its Al Mazrah entrance points and search the area for keys among the AI. Once you have secured the keys, safely exfiltrate and return to Al Mazrah to deposit them.

Successfully completing the Shopkeeper’s Request Mission rewards players with 20,000 XP and a Double XP Token, making it a worthwhile endeavor.
