DMZ mode in Warzone Season 4 presents an exciting array of missions, challenges, and valuable loot for players to dive into. One of these thrilling missions is Dark Water. As a Tier 3 Mission for the formidable Phalanx Faction, Dark Water consists of three objectives that need to be conquered:

- Locate and secure the Cartel Laptop: Once you have obtained the Cartel Warehouse Key, make your way to the Warehouse. Inside, you will find the highly coveted Cartel Laptop. Extract this valuable piece of technology and ensure it doesn’t fall into the wrong hands.

If you’re up for a challenge in Season 4, Tier 3 missions will definitely test your skills and strategy. One such mission is the Dark Water task, which is more complex compared to others. But don’t worry! We’ve got you covered with a step-by-step guide to help you succeed.
Step 1: Deploy into Al Mazrah
Your first task is to deploy into Al Mazrah, the location where the mission takes place. Once you’re there, get ready to tackle the Dark Water challenge.
Step 2: Find a Rebreather
A crucial item you’ll need for this mission is a Rebreather. It’s a small oxygen tank-like device that will be your lifeline in the treacherous Dark Water environment. If you’re lucky, you may find one in your Contraband Stash before entering the game. But if not, you’ll need to search for it during the mission.
Bathrooms and medical cabinets are the best places to search for a Rebreather. During our exploration, we found one in a medical cabinet located in an Al Mazrah City gas station. Look out for the item shown in the image below:
Once you’ve secured the Rebreather, you’re ready for the next phase of the mission. Remember to equip it before entering the Dark Water, as it will be invaluable for your survival.
As previously mentioned, finding these items is not too difficult and you should be able to obtain one through looting. However, if you’re having trouble and need one urgently, you can also consider bartering for it at the Al Mazrah Buy Station. The required ingredients to craft a Rebreather are quite accessible:
- 1x Hard Drive
- 1x Imported Tea
By collecting these items, you’ll be able to create your own Rebreather and dive into exciting adventures with ease!
Once you have obtained the Rebreather, it’s time to embark on an exciting quest to discover a sunken ship.
Discovering the Cartel Warehouse Key Location in Warzone DMZ
Contrary to its description as the “eastern-most” ship in Al Mazrah, the sunken ship is actually located at the very south, southwest of the vast battle royale map.
Set your course towards the southwest of Sarrif Bay, venturing beyond the prominent land mass. As you enter map grid E8, an intriguing sight awaits – a portion of a boat emerging from the depths of the sea. This is the ship we’ve been seeking.
The image above provides a clear depiction of the precise location of Al Mazrah on the left side, and a closer view on the right side. In the image below, you can see what it looks like in the actual game. As you can observe, we opted to approach on a Jet Ski, a much swifter and more efficient option compared to swimming.
Upon reaching the ship, take a dive and head towards its submerged eastern internals. These areas are fully underwater, so remember to equip your Rebreather. To obtain the Cartel Warehouse Key, search for a desk in one of the submerged rooms. You’ll find the key next to a Toolbox, curiously not floating like you might expect.

Discover the Hidden Location of the Cartel Laptop in the Warzone DMZ
Prepare yourself to embark on an exhilarating mission to find the Cartel Laptop. It is cleverly concealed within a warehouse at Hafid Port, which lies to the west of Al Mazrah. The fastest route to reach the destination is by water, heading west and then north along the stunning coastline of Al Mazrah.
However, be forewarned! The Cartel members are not thrilled about your daring plan to pilfer their precious Laptop. Brace yourself for an intense battle as they will put up a formidable fight to protect their valuable asset.
The specific building housing the Cartel Laptop is situated in the southern part of Hafid Port, precisely at map grid C6. Take a look at the left image to get an overall perspective of its position within Al Mazrah, while the right image offers a closer look at the Port POI to aid your navigation.
When you spot a building adorned with a distinctive white ‘X’ on its door, you’ll know that you have reached the right destination. Approach the door confidently, equipped with the key you recently obtained, and unlock it to gain access.
As you step inside, prepare yourself for a treasure trove of valuable items within the Warehouse. Delight in discovering a couple of orange crates filled with coveted loot and an abundance of cash waiting to be claimed. But, the highlight of your mission lies in securing the prized possession known as the ‘Las Almas Laptop,’ neatly positioned on a sturdy metal shelving unit on the southern side of the room. Graciously place it in your trusty backpack and make your way towards the designated exfil location, as your mission nears its triumphant conclusion.
Completing the Dark Water mission in DMZ is not only an exciting adventure, but it also brings generous rewards. By successfully finishing this mission, you will unlock the highly sought-after Buoyant House Key and receive a whopping 10,000 XP. These substantial rewards make it an endeavor worth undertaking.
