A perception check will determine if you notice the door.
If you pass the perception check, you can examine the door but will need to successfully complete a Sleight of Hand check with a value of 25 or higher to gain entry. Alternatively, head to the other side of the house at coordinates X: -27, Y: -166. Look for a hole, and by using Gaseous Form, you can enter the house through it.
Inside the house, you’ll find the formidable Mystic Carrion awaiting you in the living room. He will inform you that his servant Thrumbo has escaped and will assign you the task of finding them. This initiates the quest “Find Mystic Carrion’s Servant.”
Once you locate Thrumbo, he will divulge the horrifying truth about Mystic Carrion’s cruelty and attempt to persuade you to eliminate him. If you agree, you’ll embark on the quest “Destroy Mystic Carrion.” However, be warned, defeating Mystic Carrion is no easy feat.

Take a moment to scan your surroundings, for there are also a handful of valuable herbs and lootable items waiting to be discovered. Your journey to obtaining these treasures will be a breeze!

Prepare for an exciting adventure! Uncover the hidden treasures of the Jar of Mystic Carrion’s Liver and Brain, all in one go. These intriguing artifacts can be found within the depths of the Sewers.
Accessing the Sewers can be done through various entrances. One option is to locate the locked door in the Guildhall that leads directly to it. Alternatively, you can uncover the secret entrance within Cardoza’s ritual room. If you prefer a more discreet approach, any manhole on the street can grant you access. Additionally, a secret door in the basement of Elfsong Tavern provides another passage. If you have successfully completed the Murder Investigation quest, you will also have the opportunity to access it and Bhaal’s door through the cemetery.
The possibilities are endless, so choose your preferred route wisely.
Once inside the sewers, make your way northeast until you reach the captivating Undercity Ruins. Take a left turn from the waypoint and keep going until you encounter a clickable passage that leads you into a crypt-like room.
As you make your way towards the imposing stone wall on your right, brace yourself for an intense encounter with a legion of mummies. Get ready to unleash your skills and take down these relentless adversaries. Once you have successfully defeated them, you will have two options to progress further. You can either showcase your lockpicking finesse or use sheer force to burst through the door that stands in your way.

In this mysterious room, you will discover a magnificent Gilded Chest waiting to be opened. Once unlocked, it will reveal the coveted Jar of Mystic Carrion Liver. But be warned, entering the Gilded Chest requires a skillful throw of 10 or better.
As you explore further, your eyes will be drawn to a table at the center of the room, where the Jar of Mystic Carrion Brain rests. A truly remarkable find!

For a tactical advantage, I highly recommend employing stealth and positioning yourself for a surprise attack on Mystic Carrion. Be prepared, as the moment you initiate the fight, you’ll find yourself surrounded by approximately seven menacing mummies from all directions.
By taking the initiative against the formidable Mystic Carrion, you level the playing field. Mystic Carrion and his army of mummies are not to be underestimated, as they possess the ability to inflict necrotic and poison damage. To successfully counter their attacks, it is highly recommended to include a Cleric, such as the skilled Shadowheart, in your party.
Clerics have a wide range of spells at their disposal to aid in this battle. Spells like Protection from Poison, Destroy Undead, and Mass Healing Word can prove invaluable. Protection from Poison shields your party from the harmful effects of poison, while Destroy Undead can quickly eliminate groups of undead enemies. Mass Healing Word is crucial for keeping your team in good health after enduring multiple devastating attacks. Additionally, consider using Banishment to temporarily reduce the number of enemies overwhelming your group.
If you prefer a more straightforward approach, relying on traditional magical abilities and weapons will serve you well. However, it is essential to prioritize maintaining high health levels among your team members and keeping them in close proximity. This will help prevent any one individual from being overwhelmed by the enemy forces.
After successfully defeating Mystic Carrion, don’t forget to search his body for valuable loot. Among his possessions, you will find the coveted Crypt Lord Ring. This powerful artifact grants you the ability to summon and control undead creatures using the Create Undead skill. These mummies boast impressive stats, with over 130 HP and the capability to launch multiple attacks, making them invaluable assets in combat.
In addition to his formidable abilities, he will also wield the powerful Staff of Cherished Necromancy, designed specifically to enhance his necromantic skills. With this staff in hand, his proficiency in necromancy-based techniques will be further amplified.
