Into the Abyss Destiny 2: Mastering the Contraverse Hold Exotic Quest and Daphne Fama Insights

If you’re a Destiny player, you know that Bungie has been making efforts to make Exotic hunting a more enjoyable experience. And with the Season of the Deep update, they have introduced accessible quests to obtain some classic Exotics. In this article, we’ll guide you through completing the “Into the Abyss” questline in Destiny 2.

Completing the Contraverse Hold Exotic Quest

If you’re a fan of Exotic Gauntlets, Void abilities, and spamming grenades, then the Contraverse Hold is the perfect Exotic for you. And thanks to the Into the Abyss questline, acquiring it has become easier than ever before. Let’s jump right into the steps:

If you’re a Warlock and haven’t received the quest yet, visit Ikora in the Tower to obtain it. Once you have the quest, you’ll need to complete the following eight steps:

• Step 1: Defeat weakened targets, defeat targets with abilities, and cast your Super. Progress will be tracked for Void Weaken (0%) and Void abilities (0/40). You’ll also need to cast your Super three times.
• Step 2: Complete the Orrey Lost Sector on Nessus. You’ll find an Exotic marker on the map, but ignore it. The Orrey Lost Sector is located in Artifact’s Edge. Defeat the boss and loot the cache to obtain the Geodesic Knot item, which you’ll need to bring back to Ikora.
• Step 3: If you don’t already have the Chaos Accelerant Aspect, purchase it from Ikora in the Tower Bazaar. If you already have it, you can skip this step and the next one.
• Step 4: Meditate to learn your new subclass ability. You’ll find the meditation device next to Ikora in the Tower Bazaar.
• Step 5: Speak with Ikora to update her on your progress.
• Step 6: Equip the Void subclass and Contraverse Hold Exotic Gauntlets.
• Step 7: Complete the “Insight Terminus” strike on Nessus with your Void subclass and Contraverse Hold equipped. You can select this strike from the Nessus map, and the strike icon is located at the top.
• Step 8: Speak to Banshee-44 to complete the quest and receive your Contraverse Hold Exotic Gauntlets.

If you follow these steps, you’ll not only obtain the Contraverse Hold Exotic Gauntlets but also the Positive Outlook weapon. Pretty amazing, right?
