To restore power in the Arcane Tower, all you need is a Sussur Bloom. This magical ingredient is essential for reigniting the generator located in the tower’s basement. While locating a Sussur Bloom might sound challenging, luck is on your side this time. In fact, you’ll find a bloom conveniently placed right outside the basement door, next to the mesmerizing blue tree.
With the Sussur Bloom in hand, you can easily recharge the power generator and bring the Arcane Tower back to life. Strap on your gear, embark on this exciting quest, and prepare to uncover the mysteries that await you in the depths of Baldur’s Gate 3!

Simply make your way outside and grab the beautiful bloom. Once it’s safely in your inventory, make your way to the Power Generator. Interact with the console and you’ll notice a slot specifically designed to add materials. Take the Sussur Bloom from your inventory and drag it into this slot. Now, hit the “combine” button and get ready to be amazed as a captivating cutscene unfolds before your eyes!
The Arcane Tower is once again lit up with power, allowing you unrestricted movement with the help of the elevators. What’s even better is that the Arcane Turrets are now powered down, making your journey easier and safer.
Discovering the Basement of the Arcane Tower (BG3)
To access the Arcane Tower basement where the Power Generator resides, you must scale the cliffs on the left-hand side of the tower. Giant mushrooms are your stepping stones, gradually leading you to the other side. Take your party in this direction and navigate the jumps one by one until you reach the lower levels.
At the bottom of the cliff, there awaits a door that grants direct access to the Arcane Tower basement and the power generator. Before entering, be sure to collect the Sussur Bloom from outside and add it to the generator, as explained in the previous section.
Now that you have successfully reached the basement, you have the freedom to explore the entire tower. Once you have gathered all the necessary items and information, it’s time to venture forth into the next section of the Underdark in Baldur’s Gate 3.
