Quicksilver storm catalyst

The Destiny 2 Quicksilver Storm catalyst is an exciting addition to the game, transforming the weapon into a force to be reckoned with. Like other exotic weapon catalysts, it adds perks and elemental damage, taking the Quicksilver Storm to a whole new level of power. Obtaining the catalyst may require some grinding, but the results are well worth it.

Destiny 2 features a wide range of exotic weapons with catalysts, each enhancing their unique abilities. For example, the Gjallarhorn catalyst grants additional Wolfpack rounds upon killing an enemy with the initial blow. These catalysts enhance already powerful weapons and are highly sought after by players. The Quicksilver Storm catalyst adds Strand elemental damage and the ability to spawn Threads and Threadlings using the alt-fire grenade launcher, making it an essential addition to any Destiny 2 loadout.

If you already have the Quicksilver Storm from the Lightfall Annual pass, you will receive the quest for the exotic catalyst halfway through the Lightfall mission list. Simply speak to Banshee-44, the gunsmith at the Tower, to begin the quest titled “Any Data Port in a Storm.” The quest involves gaining data by defeating enemies with auto rifles, grenades, and grenade launchers. Additionally, you need to defeat 50 enemies in Neomuna using the grenade launcher alt-fire of the Quicksilver Storm.

Once you complete the catalyst, you can unleash the full potential of the Quicksilver Storm against powerful enemies like the Witness. To masterwork the Lightfall exotic, you will need to eliminate a total of 700 enemies with the Quicksilver Storm.

Now armed with the Quicksilver Storm catalyst, you can confidently face the challenges of the Shadow Legion and breeze through the Calus boss fight. If you’re new to Lightfall, we have a plethora of guides available, including the best Destiny 2 builds, tips on reaching the soft cap, and locations to find Cloud Accretions for fast and high-level gear acquisition.
