When exploring the captivating Cursed Lands in Baldur’s Gate 3, don’t miss the opportunity to visit the Sharran Sanctuary, a truly mesmerizing point of interest. However, gaining access to this hidden gem requires solving an intriguing puzzle that lies within the underground.

To unlock the secret door leading to the Sharran Sanctuary, your task is to interact with the three plaques on the base of the statue. While the proper order is uncertain, I found success by approaching the north plaque first, followed by the west plaque, and finally the east plaque. Once executed correctly, the southern wall will gracefully descend, revealing the entrance to the underground area.

Upon entering the sanctuary, you’ll come face to face with three imposing Shar statues. To acquire the coveted Blessings of Shar, which remain in effect until your next Long Rest, you must diligently click on all the plaques before engaging with the sculptures. Be prepared for three roll checks, each with its own level of challenge:

• Intelligence Check: You’ll need a score of at least 14 in order to pass.
• Charisma Check: A minimum score of 14 is necessary to succeed.
• Wisdom Check: Achieving a score of 14 or higher is vital to your triumph.

Successfully passing these roll checks will result in the granting of the coveted Blessings of Shar, further enhancing your journey through the Cursed Lands. Enjoy the immersive experience and make the most of your time at the Sharran Sanctuary!

Unlocking the secrets of the Sharran Sanctuary in Baldur’s Gate 3 is a thrilling adventure. By successfully completing the three Skill Checks, a hidden door unveils, leading you to an ancient altar housing the coveted Ritual Dagger of Shar. However, before you make your decision, it’s important to consider the consequences.

If you choose to cut your arm and offer your blood on the altar, Shadowheart, one of your party members, will be inspired. This can be a pivotal moment in your gameplay. Be warned, though, that taking the weapon will awaken the three statues guarding the altar, transforming them into formidable level 7 enemies boasting 120 HP. Proceed with caution!

Don’t worry though, even if you decide not to take the Ritual Dagger of Shar, there are still plenty of treasures to be found in the secret Sharran Sanctuary chamber. During my personal playthrough of Baldur’s Gate 3, I was fortunate enough to uncover the Potion of Angelic Reprive, the Elixir of Necrotic Resistance, the Scroll of Blight, and the Scroll of Revivify. These items can prove invaluable in your journey.
