Do you remember Mol? The mischievous tiefling child you encountered back in Act I at the Druid’s Grove? Well, in Act 2 of Baldur’s Gate 3, she was unfortunately kidnapped during a raid at the Last Light Inn. Now, it’s up to you to find her, as she may be the last survivor you have a chance to rescue. Here’s how you can locate Mol after the events at the Last Light Inn:
Where is Mol in Baldur’s Gate 3? – The Answer
Fortunately, you can find Mol in the Guildhall of Lower City. Admittedly, we were uncertain when we would cross paths with Mol again. After successfully finding Zevron, Lia, Rolan, and all the other tieflings and gnomes, Mol remained the only missing victim. However, locating her can prove to be quite complex.
Find Mol at the Guildhall in Lower City
Mol is located at the Guildhall in Lower City, a notorious den of thieves. This makes it an ideal hiding spot for our aspiring crime boss. Nonetheless, gaining entry into the Guildhall is no easy task. Follow these steps to successfully infiltrate the Guildhall and find Mol:
- Start by heading to Rivington and make your way to Sharess’ Caress.
- Engage in conversation with the Dwarves on the first floor of Sharess’ Caress.
- In Lower City, seek out the half-ogre named Tusgront and speak with him.
- Once you’ve completed the previous steps, enter the Guildhall and you’ll find Mol to the right of the entrance.
Getting to Sharess’ Caress
To reach Sharess’ Caress, you will first need to complete Act 2 and arrive in Rivington. Rivington is a small city filled with refugees and serves as a key checkpoint preventing access to Sharess’ Caress. Follow these methods to bypass the checkpoint and reach your destination:
- Head to the South Span Checkpoint and either pay the fee or navigate through the dialogue options until the Ironhand Gnomes blind the guards, enabling you to run through the gate.
- Alternatively, you can utilize the Invisibility spell and approach the Waypoint shortly after the checkpoint. From there, you can teleport your entire party through. Choose whichever method suits you best.
Speak to the Dwarves in Sharess’ Caress
As soon as you step foot into Sharess Caress, your senses will be overwhelmed by the bustling atmosphere. Amidst the crowd, you’ll notice two dwarves engaged in a hushed conversation about the enigmatic “Guild.” Seize this opportunity and approach them to unlock the secrets they hold. Sharpen your skills of deception or persuasion to extract valuable information about the guild from their guarded lips. With this newfound knowledge, your next objective becomes clear – infiltrate Lower City, where new adventures and hidden treasures await.
When it comes to exploring the captivating world of BG3, there are countless intriguing quests to embark on. One such quest involves solving the heinous Open Hand Temple Murders. This particular quest leads to an even more thrilling adventure in the Lower City, making it an absolute must-do for all players.
How to Access the Lower City in BG3
Thankfully, gaining entry into the Lower City in BG3 is a relatively straightforward task. Here are several ways you can easily make your way there:
- By traversing through Wymrock Fortress, you can reach the Lower City seamlessly.
- Crossing Rivington is another viable option for entering the Lower City.
- If you obtain an Official Entry Pass from Valeria at Sharess’ Caress, you’ll be granted access to the Lower City. However, solving the challenging Open Hand Temple Murders is a prerequisite.
- A stealthy approach works too – simply sneak past the guards patrolling the Lower City.
- For the most effortless entry, you can intentionally get arrested by a Lower City guard. Once in jail, you’ll need to employ your lockpicking skills to make your escape.
Locating the Lower City Guild Hall
Once you’ve successfully reached the Lower City, set your sights on the building located a few blocks to the south of Elfsong Tavern. This is the esteemed Lower City Guild Hall, a hub of activity and vital quests awaiting your eager participation.
As you wander through the winding alleys, you might come across a formidable presence. It’s none other than Tusgront, a mighty half-ogre ready to engage you in conversation. Brace yourself for an encounter that will undoubtedly leave an impression.
When it comes to convincing Tusgront that you’re a member of the guild in Baldur’s Gate 3, you better brush up on your Deception skills. This NPC requires a high level of deception to be convinced. However, there’s an alternative way to handle this situation. If you have Jaheira in your party, she can help you out by taking care of convincing Tusgront as part of her side quest that requires you to enter the Guildhall. So, you can breathe a sigh of relief if you don’t feel confident in your deception abilities – Jaheira has got your back.
Moving on to Mol, it seems she’s doing just fine in the Guildhall. There’s no special reward for finding her, but it’s satisfying to know that she’s still alive and well, despite the challenges she may have faced.
Unraveling the Mystery of Mol’s Condition and Eye Improvement
In Baldur’s Gate 3, it’s no secret that a significant amount of content was cut, particularly in Act 3. And it’s likely that Mol’s questline fell victim to this. However, there are some clues that shed light on what might have happened to her.
If you happen to visit Rafael’s House of Hope, a minor spoiler alert, you can find Mol’s Contract in Rafael’s vault. This suggests that Mol was able to save herself after the events at the Last Light Inn by striking a deal with Rafael. And here’s the interesting part – her sudden improvement in the condition of her other eye can be attributed to this mysterious arrangement.
While we can’t say for certain what exactly transpired, this theory does make sense when considering the available information.
Mol’s story is only a piece of the puzzle in the city. There are other missing little girls who require your help. One such girl needs your assistance more desperately than Mol did.
