While some systems and planets may simply serve as picturesque backdrops, others hold exciting landmarks and special uses that add depth and intrigue to your gameplay. One such system worth mentioning is the Strix system, which presents an excellent opportunity for experience farming.

If you’re eager to access the Strix system in Starfield, we’ve got you covered! Keep reading to discover the exact location of this remarkable system.

If you’re an adventurous gamer looking to explore the far reaches of the system map, then the Strix system is a must-visit destination. Located in the eastern region of the map, it offers a thrilling experience just a few systems away from being the easternmost point in the game. Surrounded by the Rana, Pyraas, and Fermi systems, reaching the Strix system requires a strategic approach.

To reach the Strix system, you’ll need to be prepared for a journey through multiple systems. For instance, you might start by navigating to the Copernicus system, followed by a jump to the Serpentis system. Only then will you be ready to make the final leap to the awe-inspiring Strix system. However, it’s important to note that this endeavor might require an upgrade to your jump distance capabilities.

Optimizing Your Grav Jump Distance

To increase your grav jump distance and conquer the challenge of reaching the Strix system, consider the following upgrade options:

  1. Upgrade your propulsion system: Investing in a higher-tier propulsion system will enhance the power and efficiency of your jumps, allowing you to cover greater distances in a single leap.
  2. Equip jump boosters: Equipping jump boosters will provide a temporary surge in jump power, enabling you to surpass previously unreachable distances.
  3. Obtain navigation artifacts: Seek out rare navigation artifacts that offer unique advantages to your jump capabilities. These artifacts can greatly enhance your grav jump distance and open up new horizons.

If you want to reach the Strix system in the vast Starfield universe, you’ll need to make sure your Grav Drive is capable of covering the maximum 30LY jump distance. Luckily, there are two ways you can achieve this.

The first option is to visit a Ship Services Technician who can enhance your ship’s Grav Drive to make it more powerful, allowing you to reach the required jump distance. They have the expertise to customize your ship and optimize its performance for a seamless journey to Strix.

Alternatively, you can also rely on your Astrodynamics skill to improve your ship’s jump distance and fuel consumption. By continuously upgrading your Astrodynamics skill, you’ll gradually enhance your ship’s capabilities, allowing it to cover greater distances with each jump. The above image beautifully illustrates the different levels of Astrodynamics skill and their corresponding impact on jump distance and fuel efficiency.

Discover the Best XP Farming Techniques using the Strix System in Starfield

To maximize your XP in the Strix system, you’ll need to land at a Craters landing zone on Strix I. It’s easy to find this location by clicking on a spot on the planet and checking for the Craters destination on the right side of your screen. As you touch down on the planet, you’ll come across numerous floating creatures called Nautiloos Filterers. These creatures are practically defenseless and make for ideal targets. Fortunately, Strix I is abundant with them, so you won’t run out of targets anytime soon. After eliminating them, simply return to orbit and then back down to find them respawned and ready for another round of XP farming.

During my testing, I started at level 45 and spent about 5 minutes farming these enemies using a high-damage sniper rifle. In that short period, I managed to gain half a level, highlighting the planet’s exceptional efficiency for XP farming. It far surpasses any other XP farming method I’ve encountered in the past.
