Mizora, without a doubt, is one of the most unpleasant characters you’ll encounter in the game. And that’s saying something considering the colorful cast of characters in Baldur’s Gate 3. However, as you progress further and recruit Wyll, you will enter Act 2 and eventually find yourself in the camp with Mizora approaching you with a rather prickly request. She will implore you to free Zariel’s Asset, kick-starting the quest known as “Rescue Zariel’s Asset.”

Following Ketheric Thorm into the Mindflayer Colony in Moonrise Tower, you’ll eventually come face to face with Zariel’s Asset trapped inside a Mindflayer Pod – none other than Mizora herself. At this point, you’ll be presented with two options: open the pod or kill Mizora.

However, it’s important to note that taking the path of killing Mizora in Baldur’s Gate 3 carries significant consequences. If you choose to end Mizora’s life, she will vanish from the pod. Unfortunately, this choice triggers a chain of events that will have dire consequences for Wyll. He will be consumed by fire and dragged to the dreaded realm of Avernus. If you choose to spare Mizora, Wyll will negotiate the end of his pact with her. She will agree, and he will be free in six months.
